      Title: West Virginia Apple Crisp

      4 c  Apples; sliced
      1 tb Lemon juice
    1/3 c  Flour
    1/2 c  Brown sugar
      1 c  Oatmeal
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 ts Cinnamon
    1/4 c  Melted margarine or butter
 
  Recipe by: Governor Gaston Caperton, West Virginia
  Put apples in shallow 8 inch pan. Sprinkle with lemon
  juice. Combine all dry ingredients with butter and mix
  until crumbly. Sprinkle all this over apples and bake at
  375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 8. JM.
