* Exported from MasterCook II * Fruit Cocktail Dessert Recipe By : Mrs. Harry Thayer Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 Eggs 1 c Sugar 1 c Flour 1 ts Baking soda 1 pn Salt 28 oz Can fruit cocktail -- drained 1 ts Almond extract 1/2 c Brown sugar 1/2 c Pecans -- chopped Whipped cream Combine eggs and sugar well. Add flour, soda, and salt and mix well. Then add fruit cocktail and almond flavoring. Mix by hand with spoon. Spread in greased 11x7" or 9x9" pan. On top sprinkle brown sugar and pecans. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 250 F. Serve either hot or cold with whipped cream.
