* Exported from MasterCook II * Lime Mint Sorbet Recipe By : Gourmet Magazine, April 1990 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Ice Creams/Sorbets/Ices Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 c Water 1 1/4 c Sugar 1/3 c Fresh mint -- firmly packed 3 c Fresh lime juice (18 limes) In a small saucepan combine the sugar and water, bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, and remove from heat. Let syrup cool. In a blender puree mint and syrup. Stir in the lime juice, and transfer mixture to a bowl. Let chill, covered until cold, about 1 hour.
