MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04 Title: Skillet Nachos Categories: Polkadot, Mexican, Ground meat Yield: 1 Batch 1 lb Ground beef 1 md Onion; chopped 2 c Picante sauce (salsa) 15 oz Pinto or black beans; - rinsed and drained 1 ts Chili powder; or to taste 1 lg Tomato; chopped 1 lg Ripe avocados (2 sm); - pitted and diced 1/2 c Ripe olives; sliced 1 c Cheddar cheeses; grated 1/2 c Sour cream; up to 1 c, - as desired Tortilla chips Flour tortillas; warmed In a 12" skillet, brown meat with onion; drain. Add picante sauce, beans, and chili powder; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5 minutes. Stil in tomato, avocado, and olives; remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese; spoon sour cream onto center of meat mixture. Place a row of tortilla chips around edge of skillet; serve immediately with additional tortilla chips, flour tortillas, and additional picante sauce.
