MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Homemade Taco Seasoning Categories: Spices, Tex-mex Yield: 1 Cup 1/4 c Sweet paprika 2 tb Chili powder 2 tb Dried oregano 1 tb Cornstarch 1 tb Kosher salt 1 tb Ground cumin 1 tb Garlic powder 1 tb Onion powder 1 ts Granulated sugar 1 ts Ground coriander 1 ts Freshly ground black pepper Preparation time: 5 minutes Homemade taco seasoning is as simple as whisking together some pantry ingredients. Measure out the spices into a medium bowl. Measure 1/4 cup sweet paprika, and 2 tb each chili powder and dried oregano into a medium bowl. Add 1 tb of each of the following: corn starch, kosher salt, ground cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add 1 ts each of the following: granulated sugar, ground coriander, and black pepper. Whisk the spices together. Whisk everything together, breaking up any clumps. If not using the spice mix immediately, transfer to an airtight container for long term storage at cool room temperature. 3 tb of taco seasoning per 1 lb of ground beef, chicken, or tofu.
