MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Aussie Surf and Turf with Spicy Beer Sauce Categories: Australian, Beef, Shrimp, Beer, Sauces Yield: 2 Servings 2 tb Butter 1 Onion; sliced 1 cl Garlic; minced 1 Fresh chilli; chopped Salt and pepper 200 ml Cream 200 ml Beer 2 Beef tenderloin steaks 2 tb Oil; +1 ts 1 ts Butter 1 tb Native lime juice Seasoning 4 King/jumbo prawns Make the beer sauce by heating butter in pan and frying onion, garlic and chilli. When onion is soft, add seasoning, cream and beer. Stir and reduce the consistency. Grease hot plate with 2 tb oil, heat and quickly sear steaks on both sides. Reduce temperature slightly and cook to required taste. Meanwhile, in a heavy-duty pan, add a little oil, butter, native lime juice, and seasoning and quickly fry prawns until red. On two preheated plates, arrange steak with beer sauce over and garnish with prawns.
