MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Chicken Tikka Categories: Chicken, Indian Yield: 1 Serving 2 Chicken leg quarters 2 tb Yoghurt 1 tb Ginger (1"); ground into - paste 2 cl Garlic; ground into paste 1 tb Lemon juice 1 ts Turmeric 1 ts Garam masala 1 ts Chaat masala 1 ts Cumin powder 1 ts Coriander powder 1/2 ts Chili powder 1 ts Salt Mix all ingredients and marinate chicken for at least 1 hour (ideally overnight). Grill chicken for 20 to 30 minutes or bake at 200 C for 40 to 50 minutes until crispy If baking, bake in pan first for 20 to 30 minutes so it gets cooked through well, then fry until the marinade has dried. Serve with chapati. Notes: * It needs to be grilled for it to be authentic, but the baked version still tastes okay. * It really needs to be properly done and crispy for it to be good.
