MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Dutch Carrots Categories: Dutch, Carrots Yield: 6 Servings 4 c Carrots; diced Salt and pepper; to taste 3 sl Bacon; diced 1 Onion; sliced Cook carrots according to basics; scrub carrots. Slice, dice, or cut in chunks. Place carrots in pan. Add 4 tb water; cover and cook 15 minutes. In large frying pan, fry bacon until crisp; remove bacon. Cook onion in bacon drippings until transparent. Season with salt and pepper. Turn carrots into hot vegetable dish; top with onions. Garnish with bacon. Serve immediately.
