* Exported from MasterCook * Spaghetti Alla Carbonara Recipe By : Foodview Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pasta Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 lb Bacon -- cut in 1/2" pieces 1/2 c Onion -- chopped 1/4 c Butter 3 Eggs -- beaten 1/2 c Parmesan cheese -- grated 2 tb Parsley -- finely chopped 1 ds Pepper 1 lb Spaghetti or spaghettini Saute bacon and onion in butter until bacon is slightly crisp and onion tender. Combine beaten eggs, grated parmesan cheese, parlsey, and pepper. Prepare spaghetti or spaghettini in large amount of boiling salted water. Drain. Return to sauce pan. Add hot bacon mixture and egg mixture to hot spaghetti. Eggs cook slightly on contact. Blend thoroughly. Yield: 6 Servings - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
