---------- Recipe via UNREGISTERED Meal-Master (tm) v8.01 Title: Caldo Verde Categories: Soups, Portuguese Yield: 6 Servings 1 1/2 lb Potatoes 1/2 lb Kale; julienned 1 Onion; minced Salt 5 tb Olive oil Chourico Yellow corn bread (broa); - sliced Boil about 2 qt water, add salt. Boil the potatoes (preferably a white-fleshed variety). When tender take them from the water, peel, puree, and return to the water. When the water is boiling again add the julliened kale and minced onion, and 3 tb olive oil. Cook until kale is tender.
