                          Million Dollar Pickles

   6      qt            Cucumbers -- sliced
     1/2  c             Pickling salt
   1                    Can pimento
   3                    Wweet red peppers
   3                    Onions
   1      ts            Turmeric
   1      qt            Cider vinegar
   2      ts            Mustard seed
   5      c             Sugar

Combine sliced cucumbers and 1/2 cup salt. Cover with water and let
stand at least 3 hours. Drain. Chop pimento, pepper, and onions. Add
remaining ingredients and cucumbers. Boil together 10 minutes. Can
hot and seal.
