* Exported from MasterCook * Chinese Chicken Salad Recipe By : Tomiko Handa Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Chinese Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 pound chicken -- cubed 2 ounces Rice sticks -- deep fry 2 tablespoons sesame seeds -- roasted 1 head lettuce 2 tablespoons roasted almonds -- chopped and slivered Dressing 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon salt 3 tablespoons vinegar 1/2 cup peanut oil 1 tablespoon sesame oil Mix shredded lettuce with above ingredients Salad dressing Mix sugar salad dressing salt and vinegar. Add peaniut oil and sesame oil and mix. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : Rice Styx will puff up slightly when deep fried. If the oil is hot the rice styx will puff up in 1 -3 seconds. Drain on paper towel then crumble into salad.
