* Exported from MasterCook II * Bean Salad Recipe By : JTS13, AOL Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 c Dry kidney beans 1 c Dry lima beans 1 c Dry pinto beans 1 c Dry garbanzo beans 1 c Green beans 1 Red onion -- chopped 3 tb Fresh parsley -- chopped Black pepper -- freshly ground, - to taste Vinaigrette: 1/3 c Virgin olive oil 3/4 c Red wine vinegar 1 ts Dry mustard 3 cl Garlic -- minced 2 ts Oregano Soak all dry beans overnight in water to cover. Rinse and place in a large pot and fill with water to cover. Cook for 1 hour, or until done, then turn heat off and add green beans. let sit in the hot water for 30 minutes. Drain.
