MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Detroit Greek Salad Categories: Greens, Vegetables, Chilies, Cheese Yield: 8 Servings 1/4 c Olive oil 3 tb Red wine vinegar 1/4 ts Salt 1/4 ts Dried oregano 1/8 ts Pepper MMMMM---------------------------SALAD-------------------------------- 8 c Iceberg lettuce; chopped 1 c English cucumber; sliced 1 c Grape tomatoes; halved 1/2 c Red onion; thinly sliced 15 1/2 oz Can garbanzo beans; - rinsed, drained 1 c Whole Kalamata olives; - pitted 1 c Feta cheese; crumbled 1/2 c Pickled sliced beets 8 Whole pepperoncini In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, salt, oregano, and pepper; set aside. Place chopped lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and onion in a large bowl. Add chickpeas and olives; toss to combine. Drizzle dressing over salad; toss to coat.
