* Exported from MasterCook * Basic Pancakes Mix (LF) Recipe By : One Meal At A Time by Martin Katahn Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Breakfast Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 c Dry Mix 1 Eggs -- beaten well 1 1/4 c Skim milk or water 1 tb Oil Nonstick cooking spray Dry Mix: 4 c Wholewheat flour 4 c All-purpose flour 2 c Wheat germ 1 c Nonfat dry milk 1/3 c Baking powder 1 ts Salt Store the dry mix in an airtight container--add the wet ingredients when you are ready to prepare the pancakes. Combine the mix with the egg, milk, and oil. Do not overmix; the batter will be slightly lumpy. Heat a non-stick pan, or other pan spray with nonstick cooking spray, over medium heat.
