Date: Thu, 31 Mar 94 15:55:03 +0600 From: offer@mamba.asg.arlut.utexas.edu (Debora Offer) I adapted my pancake recipe from "The Alaska Sourdough Cookbook" 2 cups sourdough starter 2 Tb sugar (or succanat) 1/2 tsp salt 4 Tb applesauce 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in a jigger of water. Mix everything but the baking soda then fold it in. I cook on a cast iron skillet and start having sticking problems about halfway through. I usually put a tsp of oil in then, spread it around and keep going. I'm not sure what that does to the CFF but it's a lot better than the egg and 4 Tb oil it used to have.
