* Exported from MasterCook * Breakfast Casserole Recipe By : Rival's Crock-Pot Slow Cooker Cuisine; 1995 Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Poultry Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 pound ground turkey sausage 4 tablespoons green onions, chopped 6 cups French bread, cubed 2 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded 2 2/3 cups skim milk 1 1/4 cups frozen egg substitute -- thawed -OR- 5 eggs -- beaten 2 teaspoons prepared mustard 1 teaspoon ground black pepper This recipe can be prepared the night before in the removable Crock-Pot, refrigerated and then turned on in the morning for an excellent tasty brunch. In a skillet brown turkey sausage and green onions in vegetable oil. Drain meat. coat Crock-Pot with cooking spray and place bread cubes in bottom. Layer sausage mixture and cheese over bread. Combine milk, egg substitute, prepared mustard, and pepper. Pour over sausage and cheese. Cover and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours.
