MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Marinated Tempeh Burgers Categories: Burgers, Vegetarian Yield: 4 Burgers 8 oz Tempeh 1 c Sunflower oil; +3 tb 1/2 c Cider vinegar 2 tb Tamari 4 Whole wheat rolls Tomato slices Alfalfa sprouts Onion rings Tahini; mayonnaise, or -ketchup Cut tempeh into quarters. Mix 1 cup oil, vinegar, and tamari together in shallow, wide bowl. Put tempeh quarters into bowl and allow to sit, turning over occasionally. Marinate at least 2 hours. You can let it marinate for a day in the refrigerator if you like. When ready to cook, heat 3 tb oil in a 10" frying pan. Lift tempeh from marinade, drain, and set in frying pan on medium heat.
