* Exported from MasterCook * Crockpot Steak Soup Recipe By : Louise Crane Williams Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Crockpot Soups Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 c Water 1 1/2 c Frozen mixed vegetables -- - thawed 3 Celery ribs -- chopped 2 sm Onions -- chopped 2 md Carrots -- sliced 1 lb Round steak -- diced, browned 2 c Canned tomatoes 2 tb Beef base granules or paste -- - up to 4 tb 1/2 ts Pepper 1/2 c Butter 1/2 c Flour Put all ingredients in crockpot except for butter and flour. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours. One hour before serving, turn on High. Make a roux of 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup flour. Melt butter in small saucepan, on medium-low heat, and stir in flour.
