MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Slow-Cooked Swiss Steak Categories: Five, Beef, Vegetables Yield: 6 Servings 2 tb A-P flour 1/2 ts Salt 1/4 ts Pepper 1 1/2 lb Round steak; in 6 pieces 1 md Onion; in 1/4" slices 1 Celery rib; in 1/2" slices 16 oz Tomato sauce (2 cans) In a bowl or shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Add the steak and turn to coat. Place the onion in a greased 3 qt slow cooker. Top with the steak, celery, and tomato sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until meat is tender.
