* Exported from MasterCook * Fish Mulligan Recipe By : Key Gourmet CD Rom Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fish & Seafood Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 Bacon strips -- diced 3 md Onions -- sliced 1 1/2 lb Fresh haddock -- 2-1/2" pieces 1 1/2 lb Potatoes -- peeled, diced 3/4" 3 lg Carrots -- diced 3/4" 1/2 ts Celery seeds 1/4 c Green pepper -- diced 2 ts Salt -- or to taste 1/2 ts Pepper 3 c Water -- boiling 3 1/2 c Crushed tomatoes (28 oz) 2 tb Parsley -- snipped Can also add chicken breasts (skinned, boned, cubed), shrimp, clams, oysters, etc. In deep kettle or Dutch oven, saute bacon until lightly browned; remove bacon, set aside. In same kettle, saute onions until tender. Add fish, potatoes, celery seeds, carrots, green peppers, salt, pepper, chicken, and/or any other seafood and boil ing water.
