* Exported from MasterCook * SHRIMP OR CRABMEAT MOUSSE Recipe By : Home Cooking magazine -- August 1997 Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Crab Fish Shrimp Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 package (3-oz) lemon gelatin 1 cup boiling water 2 cups crabmeat or shrimp or 1 cup of each 1/2 cup chopped celery 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper, -- optional 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 tablespoons prepared horseradish 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped scallions 1 dash cayenne pepper 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing 1/2 cup cream, -- whipped salad greens Dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water. When partially congealed add all ingredients except salad greens and blend. Pour into mold. When firm, unmold on salad greens. Serve with asparagus spears or green peas and heated rolls. Serves 4-6.
