* Exported from MasterCook * Scallop Broil Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fish Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 lb Bay or sea scallops 8 tb Butter -- melted 1 cl Garlic -- minced 1 ts Salt Black pepper -- fresh ground 1 pn Cayenne 1/4 c Flour 1 ts Paprika 8 Parsley sprigs 2 Lemons -- cut in wedges Preheat broiler 10 minutes. Rinse scallops and pat dry with paper towels. Melt butter with garlic in small saucepan. Swish half of garlic butter around sides and bottom of a shallow baking dish. Arrange scallops in a single layer in dish. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne. Thoroughly mix paprika and flour and dust scallops with this mixture. Pour the remaining garlic butter over all.
