1 lb. abalone 1 lb. sea scallops 1 egg, beaten 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons oil 2 tablespoons butter flour lemon slices (optional) Makes: 6 servings. Cube abalone. Put into food processor. Process until well ground. Remove abalone. Add scallops to processor and grind well. Combine abalone, scallops, egg and salt. Shape into flat patties. In a skillet, heat oil and butter.
