MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Carolina Pulled Pork Categories: Pork, Vegetables, Chilies, Crockpot, Herbs Yield: 14 Servings 5 lb Pork butt roast; boneless 2 tb Brown sugar 2 ts Salt 1 ts Paprika 1/2 ts Pepper 2 md Onions; quartered 3/4 c Cider vinegar 4 ts Worcestershire sauce 1 tb Sugar 1 tb Crushed red pepper flakes 1 ts Garlic salt 1 ts Ground mustard 1/2 ts Cayenne pepper MMMMM--------------------------TO SERVE------------------------------- 14 Hamburger buns; split 1 3/4 lb Deli coleslaw Cut roast into quarters. Mix brown sugar, salt, paprika, and pepper; rub over meat. Place meat and onions in a 5 qt slow cooker. In a small bowl, whisk vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and seasonings; pour over roast. Cook, covered, on low 6 to 8 hours or until meat is tender. Remove roast; cool slightly. Reserve 1-1/2 cups cooking juices; discard remaining juices. Skim fat from reserved juices. Shred pork with 2 forks. Return pork and reserved juices to slow cooker; heat through. Serve pork on buns with coleslaw.
