* Exported from MasterCook * Ham Stroganoff Recipe By : Freeze With Ease copyright 1965 Serving Size : 16 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Freezer Meals Pork & Ham Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 24 oz Noodles (3 pkg) 1 c Butter 2 c Onion -- finely chopped 4 cl Garlic -- finely chopped 24 oz Canned sliced mushrooms -- drained 4 lb Fully cooked canned ham 6 tb Flour 32 oz Tomato sauce 1 c Red Burgundy wine 42 oz Condensed beef bouillon (4 cans) 1 ts Pepper 4 c Sour cream 2 c Parmesan cheese Cook noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside. Saute onion, garlic, and mushrooms in butter until tender. Remove and discard gelatin and excess fat from ham and dice. Add to onion mixture; heat, stirring 5 minutes longer. Take from heat and stir in flour, tomato sauce, Burgundy wine, beef bouillon and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream. Divide into suitable potions for your use and place in greased casseroles in following manner: Layer 1/3 of noodles; top with 1/3 of ham mixture; repeat layering twice. Freeze. To Serve: Defrost and sprinkle with 1 cup parmesan cheese per 8 servings. Bake, uncovered at 375 F for 25 minutes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
