* Exported from MasterCook * Chocolate Coconut Crust With Ice Cream Recipe By : Freeze With Ease copyright 1965 Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Freezer Meals Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 oz Unsweetened chocolate 2 tb Butter 2 tb Milk -- hot 2/3 c Confectioner's sugar -- sifted 1 1/2 c Coconut -- toasted Ice cream -- any flavor Melt chocolate squares and butter in top of double boiler. Combine milk and confectioner's sugar. Add to chocolate mixture and stir well. Add coconut. Spread on bottom and sides of greased 9" pie pan. Freeze. To Serve: Defrost (will defrost in less than 1 hour at room temperature) and fill with your choice of ice cream. Vanilla, Peppermint stick, pistachio, etc. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
