Recipe By : Jacqueline Mallorca, San Francisco Chronicle, 4/26/95 Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:30 Categories : Appetizers Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 9 oz Frozen artichoke hearts 1/4 c Chicken broth 1 cl Garlic -- minced 1/2 lb Bacon slices Simmer frozen artichoke hearts in chicken broth with the garlic until tender, about 6 minutes. Drain. When cool enough to handle, wrap in thinly cut bacon and secure with a toothpick. Broil until bacon is crisp, and serve warm. Alternatively, wrap in prosciutto and serve cold. Notes: You may want to cut the bacon slices into smaller lengths so the bacon isn't overpowering. Also, you could use proscuitto. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
