* Exported from MasterCook II * Cocktail Meatballs Recipe By : Karen Zundel Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Appetizers And Dips Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup bread crumbs 1/3 cup minced onions 1/4 cup milk 1 large egg 1 tablespoon parsley 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup shortening or oil 12 ounces chili sauce 10 ounces grape Jelly 1) Mix beef,bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, and next four ingredients. Shape into 1" balls. 2) Melt shortening in lg. skillet. Brown meatballs. Remove meatballs and pour off fat or skip the fat and microwave meatballs for 5 min. on each side, drain. 3) Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet until jelly is melted. 4) Add meatballs; coat thoroughly.
