                        Spirited Artichoke Spread

  14      ounces        canned artichoke hearts -- drained
   6      ounces        marinated artichoke hearts
   1      cup           cheddar cheese -- grated
   4      ounces        green chile peppers -- drained
                        cocktail rye bread

 In a food processor place drained artichoke hearts, process until
finely 
chopped but not pureed. Place chopped artichokes into a microwave safe
bowl and 
mix with cheese and chili peppers. Cook artichoke/cheese mixture in
microwave 
for 3-5 minutes until heated through. Serve warm with cocktail bread.
Yield: 2
