                       ITALIAN HERB SALAD DRESSING

     3/4  c             Olive oil
     1/2  c             Red wine vinegar
   1      tb            Grated parmesan or romano -- c
   1      Clove         garlic -- minced
     1/2  t             Salt
     1/2  t             Sugar
     1/2  t             Dried oregano
   1      pn            Pepper

  In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine all            
  ingredients; shake well. Refrigerate.  Shake well         
  again before serving over greens.
