* Exported from MasterCook * Jalapeno Salsa (Cooked) Recipe By : Serving Size : 2 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Mexican Sauces Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 tb Olive oil 3/4 c Jalapenos, chopped 2 cl Garlic, minced 1/4 c Onion, chopped 3 c Tomatoes, seeded, peeled, - chopped 1 tb Red wine vinegar 1 tb Fresh cilantro, chopped 1 tb Green olives, chopped Salt In medium sized skillet, heat the oil. Add the jalapenos, garlic, and onion. Saute until the onion is soft, but not browned, 3-5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes are quite soft, about 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for a few minutes more to give the flavors a chance "marry". Add salt to taste if needed. Let the salsa stand for at least a minute. Stir well before serving.
