                        Coney Island Hot Dog Sauce

     1/2  pound         ground beef
     1/4  cup           water
     1/2  cup           chopped onion
   1      clove         garlic -- minced
   1      ounce can     (1 cup) seasoned tomato sauce
     1/2  teaspoon      to 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
     1/2  teaspoon      salt

Brown beef slowly, add remaining ingredients; simmer
uncovered 10 minutes...Sauce for 12 dogs.
