* Exported from MasterCook * Garlic and Oil Sauce Recipe By : Joie Warner Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Sauces Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/4 c Olive oil -- best quality 15 cl Garlic -- chopped 1/4 ts Hot red pepper flakes 1/2 c Fresh parsley -- finely chopped Salt 1 ts Pepper -- fresh ground 1/4 c Parmesan cheese -- grated Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add garlic, red pepper flakes, and parsley and cook until garlic is tender, about 4 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper and toss with hot pasta in a serving bowl. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over pasta and toss again. Pass extra grated cheese and the pepper mill for each person to add to taste. Yield: 4 Servings - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Notes: I made this, and did not have fresh parsley or fresh garlic. I substituted dried parsley but used only 2 tb and used the minced garlic equivalent of 15 cloves. It was great with a bit of bite.
