---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04 Title: Shaker Herb Soup Categories: Soups Yield: 6 Servings 1 tb Butter 2 tb Chives; chopped 2 tb Chervil; minced 2 tb Sorrel; minced 1/2 ts Tarragon; finely cut 1 c Celery; finely chopped 4 c Chicken broth Salt and pepper; to taste Sugar; for sprinkling 6 sl White toast 1 ds Nutmeg Cheddar cheese; grated Melt butter in skillet, then add herbs and celery and simmer for 3 minutes. Add broth and seasonings. Cook gently for 20 minutes. Place slices of toast in tureen and pour soup over them. Add nutmeg and sprinkle with grated cheese. Serve very hot. -----
