MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Lemony Chicken Noodle Soup Categories: Vegetables, Poultry, Pasta, Citrus Yield: 2 Servings 1 sm Onion; chopped 2 tb Olive oil 1 tb Butter 1/4 lb Chicken; boned, skinned, - diced 1 cl Garlic; minced 29 oz Chicken broth (2 cans) 1 md Carrot; in 1/4" slices 1/4 c Peas 1/2 ts Dried basil 2 c Uncooked medium egg noodles 2 tb Lemon juice In a small saucepan, saute onion in oil and butter until tender. Add chicken; cook and stir until chicken is lightly browned and meat is no longer pink. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the broth, carrot, peas and basil. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the noodles. Cover and simmer until noodles are tender, 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in lemon juice.
