MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Classic Corn Chowder Categories: Vegetables, Potatoes, Dairy Yield: 8 Servings 1 lg Onion; chopped 1/2 c Butter 2 1/2 c Water 21 1/2 oz Cream-style corn (2 cans) 4 md Potatoes; peeled, - in 1/2" cubes 2 c Milk 1 1/2 ts Salt 3/4 ts Pepper Fresh parsley; minced In a Dutch oven, saute onion in butter until tender. Add the water, corn, and potatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 16 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Reduce heat to low. Stir in the milk, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with parsley.
