* Exported from MasterCook * Better Butterscotch Brownies Recipe By : Pillsbury Fast & Healthy magazine Serving Size : 20 Preparation Time :10:00 Categories : Brownies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/4 c All purpose flour 1 1/2 c Brown sugar -- firmly packed 1 ts Baking powder 1/8 ts Salt 1/4 c Butter -- melted 2 tb Water 2 ts Vanilla 2 Eggs 1/2 c Butterscotch chips Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9" square pan with nonstick cooking spray. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt; mix well. Add butter, water, vanilla, and eggs; blend well. Spoon and spread batter evenly into sprayed pan. Sprinkle with chips. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 45 minutes or until completely cool before cutting into bars.
