      Title: Apple Orange Brownies
 Categories: Brownies
      Yield: 1 Batch
 
    2/3 c  Butter
      2 c  Brown sugar
      1 c  Applesauce
      2    Eggs
      1 tb Orange zest; grated
      2 ts Vanilla
      2 c  Flour
      2 ts Baking powder
      1 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Baking soda
      1 c  Nuts; chopped
 
  In medium saucepan melt butter. Remove from heat. Add brown sugar and
  stir until blended, cool. Beat in applesauce, eggs, orange zest, and
  vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
  Stir into applesauce mixture. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased
  15-1/2 x  10-1/2 x 1" baking pan.
  
  Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°F.
