                        Butterscotch Brownies #2

     1/4  c             Butter -- melted
   1      c             Brown sugar
     1/2  c             Flour
     1/2  c             Nuts
   1      ts            Baking powder
     1/2  ts            Salt
     1/2  ts            Vanilla
   1      lg            Egg

Melt butter and sugar. Cool. Add remaining ingredients. Spread onto
well greased 8x8x2" baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 18 minutes.
Cut while warm.

Yield: 6 Brownies
