* Exported from MasterCook * Butterscotch Brownies Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Brownies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/4 cup butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup pecans ,chopped Confectioners' sugar Melt butter in saucepan. Stir brown sugar into it until dissolved. Cool these ingredients slightly. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Sift then measure flour. Resift it with the baking powder and salt. Stir these ingredients into butter mixture. Add pecans. Pour the batter into a greaased and floured 8x8" pan. Bake at 350°F. for about 30 minutes.
