* Exported from MasterCook * Grandma Stefan's German Cheese Torte Recipe By : Jo Anne Merrill Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cakes Prize Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2/3 lb Graham crackers -- crushed 1/2 c Sugar 1 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon 6 tb Margarine -- melted Filling: 4 lg Eggs 1 c Sugar 2 lb Ricotta cheese * 1 c Whipping cream 1/4 ts Salt 1 ts Vanilla extract 2 tb Flour * Use Baker's style cottage cheese instead of ricotta if preferred. Crust: Mix all crust ingredients and line the bottom and sides of a spring form pan, saving 1 cup mixture for topping. The recipe calls for 4 to 6 tb melted margarine. You may not need the full amount to make a proper crust. Filling: Beat together the eggs and sugar. Add cheese and rest of ingredients; mix well. Pour carefully into lined pans.
