---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Apple Cobbler Cake Categories: Cakes Yield: 16 Servings Cake: 1 1/2 c Cooking oil 2 c Sugar 3 Eggs 2 ts Vanilla 3 c Flour; plain 1 ts Salt 1 ts Soda 1 c Pecans; chopped 3 c Apples; peeled and chopped Topping: 1/2 c Light brown sugar 1/2 c Butter 1/2 c Dark brown sugar 1/4 c Milk Bleand together oil, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Sift together the flour, salt, and soda, and mix with sugar mixture. Fold in pecans and apples. Pour into a well greased and floured Bundt pan and bake for 1 hour in preheated 350°F oven. Leave in pan and let cool about 10 minutes before putting on topping. Topping: Boil ingredients together for 3 minutes. Pour over hot cake and let stand 1 hour before removing from pan. Note: May have to carefully loosen cake at top of cake around sides and around center tube. Also, gently run knife down each curve of the sides and center tube to get topping to seep down. -----
