---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Painted Peach Cake Categories: Cakes Yield: 12 Servings 1 Pkg cake mix; - your choice of yellow, - pineapple, white 1/2 c Neufachatel pineapple - cheese 6 oz Cream cheese 5 Eggs (1-1/4 c?) 1 c Canned peaches; - well drained 1/3 c Red cinnamon candies Glaze: 1/2 c Confectioner's sugar; - sifted 1 tb Lemon juice; up to 2 tb Grease & flour a 10" tube pan. Turn oven to 350°F. In large mixer bowl combine cake mix (dry) with cheese & eggs. Blend on low 30 seconds, beat 2 minutes. Spoon about 2/3rds of batter into prepared pan. Arrange peach slices over batter. Sprinkle candies over. Spoon remaining cake batter over all. Bake 35 to 45 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on rack (upright) 15 minutes. Remove & drizzle with glaze made by mixing powdered sugar with lemon juice. Serve warm or cool with whipped cream or ice cream. Recipe by Mrs. M.
