---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04 Title: Maple Syrup Nut Cake Categories: Cakes, Desserts Yield: 18 Servings 2 1/4 c Flour 3 ts Baking powder 1 c Maple syrup 1/2 c Milk 1 c Nuts; chopped 1/2 c White sugar 1 ts Salt 1/2 c Shortening; softened 2 ea Eggs Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Add syrup, shortening, and milk; beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes. Add chopped nuts and mix well. Pour into two greased and floured 9" pans. Bake in 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Frost.
