* Exported from MasterCook * Peanut Butter Meltaway Cake Recipe By : More Family Favorites Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cakes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Cake: 1/4 c Buttermilk 1/4 c Cocoa 2 Eggs -- beaten 1 c Water 1 c Margarine 2 c Sugar 2 c Flour 1 ts Baking soda 1 ts Vanilla 1 c Peanut butter 1 tb Salad oil Frosting: 1/2 c Margarine 1/4 c Cocoa 1 lb Powdered sugar 6 tb Buttermilk 1 ts Vanilla Cake: Mix together 1/4 cup buttermilk, 1/4 cup cocoa, eggs, water, and 1 cup margarine. Add in sugar, flour, baking soda, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Grease and flour a 9x13" baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Let cool. Mix together the peanut butter and salad oil. Spread over cooled cake. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Frosting: Heat 1/4 cup cocoa and 1/2 cup margarine. Stir until it bubbles. Add powdered sugar, 6 tb buttermilk, and vanilla.
