---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04 Title: Fruit Cake Categories: Desserts, Cakes, Holiday Yield: 12 Servings 1 c Water 1 c Sugar 4 lg Brown eggs 2 c Dried fruit 1 ts Salt 1 c Brown sugar Lemon juice Nuts 1 Bottle whiskey Sample the whiskey to check for quality. Take a large bowl. Check the whiskey again. To be sure it's the highest quality, pour a level 1 cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer, beat 1 cup butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add 1 ts sugar and beat again. Make sure the whiskey is still okay. Try another cup. Turn off the mixer. Beat 2 eggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Mix on the tuner. If the fired druit gets stuck in the beaters, pry it loose with a screwdriver. Sample the whiskey to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift 2 cups salt. Or something. Who cares? Check the whiskey. Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add 1 tb sugar or something. Whatever you can find. Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin to 350°F. Don't forget to beat off the turner.
