                      Chocolate Toffee Crescent Bars

   8      oz            Pillsbury refrigerated quick
                        - crescent dinner rolls
     2/3  c             Brown sugar -- firmly packed
     2/3  c             Butter -- not margarine
   1      c             Pecans -- chopped
   1      c             Chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Pat separated crescent dough in ungreased 15x10" jelly roll pan. Seal
perforations.

In small saucepan combine sugar and butter and boil 1 minute. Pour
evenly over dough and sprinkle with nuts. Bake 14 to 18 minutes,
until golden brown. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake 2 to 3 minutes. Swirl chocolate unevenly. Cool. Cut.
