---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Creamy Apple Squares Categories: Cakes Yield: 12 Servings 1 Box yellow cake mix 1/2 ts Cinnamon 2 Apples; peel, slice thin 1/2 c Butter 1 c Sour cream 1/4 c Brown sugar; firm pack 1 Egg Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine cake mix and butter; mix until crumbly. Reserve 2/3 cup for topping; add brown sugar and cinnamon to reserved topping mix. Mix well; set aside. Press remaining mixture onto bottom of ungreased 9x13" pan. Arrange apple slices over base. Blend sour cream and egg; spread evenly over apples. Sprinkle reserved topping mixture over all. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers. These are divine served warm but they ain't bad served cold.
