      Title: Borden's None Such Mincemeat Cookies

      Yield: 48 Cookies
 
  3 1/4 c  Flour
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 ts Baking soda
      1 c  Shortening
  1 1/2 c  Sugar
      3    Eggs; beaten
  1 1/2 c  Mincemeat; from jar
 
  Combine flour, salt, and soda. Cream shortening, adding sugar
  gradually and cream until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until smooth.
  Stir in mincemeat. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well. Drop
  by teaspoonsful about 2" apart on greased baking sheet. Bake in hot
  oven about 400°F for 12 minutes.

  These resemble a raisin cookie in flavor. If using homemade
  mincemeat, add some sugar--I recommend the jar mince instead for a
  fruity taste.
